I just returned from a week of working with clients in Maryland and Pennsylvania and as I’m flying home I realized I was able to exercise 4 out of the 5 days. Maybe for some of you that’s not a big deal but for me it’s signified a total lifestyle change. I used to believe so many crazy things about exercise such as, “I don’t have the time”, “It’s too hard because I’m on the road”, “I’ve worked hard so I deserve this Snickers”. Maybe you’ve believed one of these untruth’s.
My health made a radical shift when I was able to change my mindset about exercise and food. The key to making any significant change in your life is to change your belief structure. Your action will always follow your beliefs, so if you need to make a change in any area of your life, ask yourself first, “What do I really believe about this?”
The actual picture is the gym in Reading, PA where I worked out for 2 of the 4 days! I’m a living testimony that no matter where you find yourself, if you really want to exercise you can! The key is to develop a big enough “WANT TO” to make the change.
